Project Description
The development of a major industrial complex near the town of Skikda in Algeria was the catalyst for developing a master plan for a new city with a projected population of 150,000. The master plan study included demographic projection, site investigation, urban and infrastructure concepts. Gerhard Pichel, GPA president, was the project principal on this master plan while employed with a major US engineering firm.
