Project Description
GPA was the consulting architect on the design/build of a 10 gate
Terminal 2 West expansion program. The program includes an elevated
departure road with smart curb passenger check-in facilities connected
to the terminal with two passenger bridges. As part of a
multidisciplinary team that included AECOM and HNTB, GPA prepared
programming design for major terminal components including an FIS
facility, architectural theming of the terminal expansion, and the
smart curb pavilions. Upon completion of the programmatic design, GPA
was commissioned to provide consulting architect services to the
Airport Authority for design/build project delivery. These services
include: project scoping, preparation of performance specifications,
fee estimates, review of plans and specs at 15%, 30%, 60%, 90% and 100%
completion levels, and review of trade bids.
