Project Description
GPA was commissioned to provide concept design for the modernization of the Technical Arts Building at El Camino College.
The criteria for the concept design included:

• Maintain structural integrity of the building
• Reconfigure the existing interior layout to increase building efficiency
• Develop conceptual layout that will enable a new 2010 teaching program

The design team was able to increase the efficiency of the building to new DSA standards through space consolidation and a more efficient layout within the existing footprint.
